Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions processed by All orders made are subject to the acceptance of these Conditions, and deemed to be accepted by you when placing your order. These Conditions do not affect your statutory rights. These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice and supersede all previous editions.

Ordering & Payments
We will treat every order for goods as an offer to purchase those goods subject to the following Conditions. You are deemed to accept the Conditions when you place an order for goods with us. Our contract with you only begins when we confirm acceptance of your offer to purchase goods from us. An order will not take place (and we will not be deemed to have accepted your order) until we have validated and confirmed your payment. Any communication, which you receive from us prior to validation, is not to be deemed as an acceptance of your order. In the event of any pricing error occurring within our website, within a written or verbal quotation, or contained within any e-mail correspondence however received, all incomplete orders shall be deemed void. In the event that any product is displayed with an inaccurate price we have the right to withdraw and cancel the order prior to a contract being made.
Payment for goods must be made in accordance with our purchase procedure as set out on our website. We can accept no responsibility if any details you provide us with that are incorrect or if an order is held due to unsubstantiated or incorrect details. Payments made using a credit card are authorised using a secure credit card facility.
Replacements, Refunds and Cancellations
Where goods are found to be faulty we will send you a replacement and arrange the return of the faulty item. We will meet all delivery and return costs. Returned goods must be adequately packed.
As a consumer, you have extensive rights when it comes to returns and cancellations. For example, you have the right to cancel your order for up to 7 days after the goods come into your possession as a result of the Distance Selling Regulations 2000. If the product you have selected is found to be unsuitable it may be returned in all original packaging in as new condition otherwise the buyer will void the return policy.
Vacuum Packed Mattresses will be exempt from the statutory 7 day cooling off period where the products have been unsealed. In the case of divans and mattresses these items should be checked for suitability before opening the packaging as once opened we are unable to accept returns due to reasons of health and hygiene.
We are unable to accept any returns on goods that were 'made to order' to explicit specifications of sizes, colours or fabrics, this includes all upholstered headboards plus any mattresses or divan beds and bases of non standard sizes. Fabric samples for many products are available prior to ordering.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, within 7 days of delivery, you may contact us to notify that you wish to return some or all of the items of your order. The customer can either arrange to return the goods themselves at their own cost or contact Buy-Beds-Online to arrange collection and the cost involved deducted from their refund. Non-delivery (customer out) items are also subject to a minimum £5 + vat re-delivery fee although this may vary depending on courier, the same will apply when goods have been arranged for collection and the courier is unable to do so due to unsuitable packaged goods or customer out.
Refunds will be issued onto the payment card that you originally used within 28 days of receipt of goods and after we have inspected them for damage. We reserve the right to withhold all or part of your refund if items are returned damaged.
Delivery Information
We do not deliver on weekends or bank holidays.
Our standard delivery service is to the front door of the property (flats or apartments lobby door) and in some cases of larger items 'kerb side' due to insurance guidelines so please arrange adequate assistance to help offload goods.
If your order arrives as arranged but we are unable to deliver because you are not home, or there is inadequate help available you will be liable for any additional costs incurred for redelivery. Where goods are refused on delivery that are found to be undamaged on return we reserve the right to pass on any carriage charges that we incur in returning the goods to us.
Delivery of the goods shall be made to UK mainland addresses only and must be signed for. Any damage to packaging must be noted on the couriers paperwork and the couriers notes marked 'Goods Unchecked'. We also strongly suggest that you contact us direct to make sure we are aware of the problem. You have 24 hours from receipt of goods to report damage. Or we will deem damage to be caused after delivery.
The delivery address will be that registered with your payment card issuer, unless you request otherwise and we agree to such a request (at our sole discretion).
All deliveries are made between 8am and 7pm. Unfortunately requests for an E.T.A. (Estimated time of arrival) are not usually available, any requests may be passed on to the couriers but are totally at their discretion. Buy Beds Online can not be held responsible for couriers unable to meet an E.T.A arrangement between the courier and the customer.
We shall not be liable for any losses or compensation which may be suffered by you that is caused by any delay or failure of delivery on the arranged date, due to carriers or any other unforeseen circumstances.
It is the customers responsibility to ensure that there is satisfactory access for the couriers vehicle to the delivery address.
In the unlikely event of us not being able to fulfill your order, due to the item being out of stock or other unforeseen circumstances, we will contact you by telephone or email. You will be offered an alternative product or the option to delay delivery until the next available delivery date for the item required. We will keep you fully informed, you retain the right to cancel the order and receive a full refund of any monies paid, no cancellation fee will apply.
When an order contains more than one item it may be dispatched with more than one courier i.e. bed frames and mattresses may be delivered by different couriers but on the day arranged.
When items are listed as delivery to room of choice it is the customers responsibility to ensure that the goods will fit into the chosen location and that there is satisfactory access to the chosen room otherwise the goods will be delivered to a more suitable room. Failure to deliver to room of choice will not be considered as a reason to cancel.
Sizes, Finishes, Descriptions and Specifications
All sizes quoted are approximate. All specifications, photographs, drawings, descriptive matter and colour on our website are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate idea of the goods. Raw materials may have minor technical variances and products may differ marginally from the goods shown. Ticks of mattresses and/or divans may vary from images shown and will not be accepted for reason of cancellation. Any changes made will be of an equally or higher standard.
Privacy and Security
Your privacy is of the highest importance to us, and we promise never to release your personal details to any outside company for mailing or marketing purposes.
At we will only ask you the relevant details to complete your order. This does include an email address & telephone number so we can contact you only regarding your order and allows us to send you an order confirmation. We will never pass your data on to third parties except where necessary to fulfill your order.
We realise how important it is to securely store any information that you provide. Therefore we maintain the highest levels of security. Our site uses high-level SSL encryption technology, the most advanced security software currently available for online transactions. You can therefore rest assured that we take the privacy and security of your payment and personal details very seriously.
